ADMISSION

To enroll your child, you must complete an Application filled out in full.  This includes ALL information, reading and signing the Policy and Tuition Agreement, and paying the non-refundable, non-transferable Yearly Registration Fee of $150.00.  If you are a new student, the following applies:

NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT DEPOSIT:  Once a start date is confirmed by Coastal Early Learning Center and agreed upon by the parent/guardian, CELC requires new students to pay an Enrollment Deposit equal to one month’s tuition. You have 3 days (72 hours) to pay the Enrollment Deposit.  If you fail to pay the Enrollment Deposit within 3 days (72 hours), CELC assumes you are forfeiting your space at CELC.  Once paid, your space is reserved, and your child is scheduled to begin CELC on the agreed upon date.  If for any reason you default on your start date and/or withdrawal from CELC without giving a full 60-day notice, your deposit may be used as your first/last month’s tuition payment.  This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.  If your child begins with CELC on the agreed upon date, the Enrollment Deposit is applied toward the first month’s tuition payment.

If you would like to begin enrollment in September (our program is year-round, beginning September - August), Open Enrollment begins in February/March. 

If you would like to begin enrollment July 1st for our fun-filled educational Summer Montessori program, please contact CELC to inquire if space is available.  You can learn more about our summer programming by selecting the "Summer" tab from the "About" menu at the top of any page.

We do enroll children throughout the year as space allows.  If you are interested in beginning enrollment sometime other than September, please contact CELC.  Due to limited space in our classrooms, CELC cannot save a space for your child. 

 

The following items MUST be submitted to CELC prior to your child’s first day of school:

  • Application, Tuition and Policy Agreement (signed by BOTH Parents/Guardians)

  • Health Inventory Form (signed by Parent/Guardian & Physician)

  • Blood-Lead Testing Certificate (signed by Parent/Guardian & Physician)

  • Immunization Certificate (signed by Physician)

  • Emergency Notification Card (signed by Parent/Guardian)

  • Picture Permission (signed by Parent/Guardian)

  • Parent Handbook Acknowledgement Form (signed by BOTH Parents/Guardians)

  • “About My Child” Form

  • Toilet Learning Questionnaire (ALL children ages 2-6 years old)

  • Change of Clothing (labeled with your child’s name)

All children regardless of race, color, creed, religion and nationality or ethnic origin, ability, need, background, culture, gender or economic circumstances are eligible for enrollment in Coastal Early Learning Center.
